about
__________

I began my career in graphic design as a production intern for a small ad agency, SteinRogan & Partners, and it was there when I fell in love with the creative process. I knew from that point forward I wanted to work as a professional artist and graphic designer. Currently based out of New York City, I work with companies both local and nationwide.

I studied graphic design and advertising at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), which gave me the opportunity to build a well-rounded foundation in design, from concept through development. Part of FITs Communication Design program included on-site agency classes where I was fortunate enough to learn from professional art directors and copywriters within such notable agencies as JWT (J Walter Thompson), KBP (kirshenbaum bond + partners), Ogilvy and TBWA\Chiat\Day. While a full-time student at FIT, I also held the position of on-site-leasing agent for the Brodsky Organization. Working in sales helped me build stronger presentation skills, and reinforced my belief that design shapes the way people view businesses and products.

In 2005, I made the switch from sales to the role of in-house graphic designer for the Citi Habitats Marketing Group (CHMG), a division of Citi Habitats. From custom designed creative sales and marketing campaigns to permanent on-site marketing, CHMG specializes in new development planning, marketing, design, leasing and sales. As the graphic designer I cover various design specialties including corporate identity, web and print design (brochures, postcards, posters, signs, advertising, etc). This position has allowed me to mingle my love for design with my experience in real estate.

As a freelance graphic designer I take on projects from all types of businesses with one goal in mind: helping to build, or improve upon each company’s brand by providing full-service graphic design services to meet the varying needs of each client.
